On the basis of the design, robust construction and various sizes of SEMAT are sufficient for all practical operations. Specifically the radial gap with the 2 positions results in the release of different media in a constant manner. In dump mode there are very thick fire fighting media layers and in spray mode are sprinkle-areas over 30m x 1,8km (width x length) possible. The possibility to discharge polymer gel, the extinguish effect will grow between three till fife times compared with water. This means, that small sizes of a SEMAT will reach the efficiency of big external load hook containers by essential less flight costs.
